How it Works The client continuously checks the player's position, speed, and heading relative to the configured speed cameras. It calculates a dynamic trigger distance based on how much the player exceeds the speed limit. It also performs side and approach angle checks so that warnings are only shown when the player is driving toward the camera on the correct road. Warning notifications (and sound) are issued only when the distance decreases by a certain step (to avoid spamming). Once a camera is passed (detected by distance increasing and the camera moving behind the vehicle), a "Speed camera passed!" notification is shown and the camera’s tracking is reset. NUI Overlay: When the player enters a vehicle for the first time (if audio isn’t unlocked), an overlay appears asking the player to press ENTER or click to unlock audio. The overlay also allows toggling sound on/off using the left/right arrow keys. The setting is sent back to the client, which then uses it to decide whether to play sounds.
